Discover the joy of jazz in this fun and welcoming ensemble class for middle school musicians! Intro to Jazz Band is perfect for students who are curious about jazz or want to try playing in a jazz group for the first time. Learn the basics of swing, improvisation, and jazz style while playing classic tunes together in a supportive group setting. No prior jazz experience required—just bring your instrument and a sense of adventure!

Music Makers is a class where our young musicians will come together as a band, learn songs on the instruments of their choice, and explore the basics of playing music together. They'll build essential ensemble skills like listening, rhythm, and collaboration, as they develop confidence in their musical abilities. The session will culminate in a performance for family and friends, giving students the opportunity to shine on stage and celebrate their musical growth.

The Musical Theatre Club is a dynamic and inclusive space for students who love to tell stories through song. This club offers the perfect opportunity to build confidence, grow performance skills, embrace what makes each performer special, and explore the world of Musical Theatre. Students will learn the fundamentals of vocal technique and character development while working together to rehearse and perform scenes and songs from popular musicals in a supportive, workshop-style environment. Along the way, members will gain experience in auditioning, stage presence, ensemble work, and storytelling.

What if music instruction were a joyful part of childhood… instead of a chore that takes away from it? Group Playground classes are 30 minute sessions for groups of up to 5 young musicians that teach the foundations of music using a variety of instruments (ukulele, bells, piano, drums, xylophone and more), activities, and folk songs! Students team up to learn songs like Rain Rain Go Away and Hot Cross Buns on any number of instruments. Sessions are student centered and tons of fun, leaning into their blooming curiosity and organic exploration to embrace the stage of learning they are in.

A creative space for songwriters in grades 6–12 (younger students welcome with instructor approval). Whether you're just starting out or already writing your own songs, Songwriter’s Circle is a weekly class where young artists come together to explore ideas, share works-in-progress, and grow as songwriters. Through collaboration, feedback, and fun writing prompts, students will develop their voice, strengthen their songwriting skills, and connect with a community of fellow creators.

Reconnect with your instrument—or try playing with a group for the first time—in this friendly and supportive string ensemble for adult violin, viola, cello, and bass players. Designed for beginners and early intermediate musicians, this weekly class focuses on ensemble playing skills, listening, rhythm, and building confidence in a collaborative setting. Whether you're brushing off your case after years away or have recently started lessons, you'll enjoy making music with others and growing together as a group.
