May 3 – Red Light Cafe Showcase
The Red Light Cafe Showcases are chill and cool amplified performances, appropriate for all ages and skill levels, where students can experience performing a mini “set” if they’d like! Musicians at RLC Showcases should be playing contemporary styles on amplified instruments (or kit)!
The Red Light Cafe Showcases are especially perfect for singer/songwriters, singer/guitarists, singer/pianists, jazz and rock musicians, jazz and rock bands, and vocalists wanting to perform contemporary styles in an open mic style environment.
- Cool, casual attire is recommended.
- All music must be memorized.
- All performances are mic’d and basic equipment such as amps, cables, and mics are provided.
- Each performer will have a 5-10 minute slot .
- Ideal for amplified instruments like: microphoned singers, electric guitars and basses, digital pianos and drum kit (which has it’s own amplification built right in!)
