What if music instruction were a joyful part of childhood… instead of a chore that takes away from it?

Group Playground classes are 30 minute sessions for groups of up to 5 young musicians that teach the foundations of music using a variety of instruments (ukulele, bells, piano, drums, xylophone and more), activities, and folk songs! Students team up to learn songs like Rain Rain Go Away and Hot Cross Buns on any number of instruments. Sessions are student centered and tons of fun, leaning into their blooming curiosity and organic exploration to embrace the stage of learning they are in.

In Playground, your child will

Play melodies, rhythms, and harmonies by ear and by reading music.
Improvise on and modify existing songs, and even compose new songs!
Practice performing with others, deepening concentration and communication skills.
Learn the patterns that allow musicians to quickly figure out new songs and new instruments.
Prepare for any school band, orchestra, or choir program or for specialization on a particular instrument.

Step two
Keep the music going by enrolling for the academic year.
Enroll in lessons for the school year, paying tuition in four-lesson increments. At any time, it’s only two weeks’ notice to quit;. However, since Playground is designed to be sustainable and stress-free, you’ll be happy to be in for the long haul!
