Summer 2025

Ztunes Music is excited to announce our new summer class: sforZando: Chamber Music Intensive. This 8-week program is designed for intermediate and advanced middle and high school band and orchestra musicians who want to deepen their ensemble skills, explore exciting repertoire, and share the joy of making music together.
Class Details:
  • 8 Sessions: Tuesdays, June 3 – July 29 (no rehearsal on July 1)
  • Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Location: Ztunes Virginia Highland (743 Virginia Ave NE, Atlanta, 30306)
  • Who: Middle and High School woodwind, brass, and string students ages 12-18
What to Expect: Students will form small chamber ensembles—such as duets, trios, quartets, and more—to explore a mix of classical and popular music. Weekly rehearsals will focus on:
  • Collaboration: Working closely with peers to create a cohesive, dynamic sound.
  • Musicianship: Enhancing listening skills, intonation, and interpretation.
  • Performance Techniques: Gaining confidence in small ensemble settings.
  • Versatility: Rotating through different groups and instrumentation for a well-rounded experience.
Whether you're new to chamber music or looking to refine your ensemble skills, this intensive promises an inspiring and fun musical journey. This is also the perfect way for band and orchestra students to keep up their practice over the summer and stay musically active while school is out. The summer will conclude with a performance during the last scheduled session to showcase students’ progress and celebrate their hard work.
