There are many options out there, but not all music schools are built the same. Founded by Karen Zgonc, a Decatur and Atlanta resident and parent, Ztunes is built from the ground up on a personal passion of music education and a comprehensive approach to all instruments.
Our faculty are carefully screened to not only be great musicians, but great educators. We participate in ongoing clinics at Ztunes and through professional associations to collaborate and learn from one another and experts in the field of music education. Our faculty are also active performers who can often be found at local festivals, in the Symphony, or various live performance venues throughout Metro Atlanta.

lessons
All of our lessons are 1:1 private instruction with a faculty member, once a week. Our instructors offer music lessons from age three through adult.
Simple Scheduling
Scheduling is easy for Atlanta's busy families. We'll help you find a day and time that works for you. We can also adjust your lesson time to work around seasonal changes in sports schedules.
Engage
Students are engaged at Ztunes. From pretend performances in lessons with CD accompaniment, to teacher duets, to excitement over the next scale (yes....excitement....over scales!). Ztunes teachers are cheerleaders for their students! Students leave lessons bursting with pride over what they have accomplished that day!
Learn to Play. Play to Perform!
Ztunes is a performance based music school, dedicated to fostering confidence to succeed. Through monthly, casual mini recitals to semi-annual formal performances, playing live is a goal to strive for and an incredible experience for our students, families, and community!
