How to Use Opus1

Opus1 is the online platform we use to manage lesson scheduling, billing, and communication between families and teachers.

Features of Opus1:

  • See all your upcoming lessons and classes, along with exact time, location, and teacher, along with their corresponding subscriptions
  • Receive weekly lesson notes from your teacher(s) and communicate directly with them about lesson progress and assignments
  • Manage your payment method & view invoices
  • Keep your contact information up to date
  • Cancel private lessons & book make-ups

How to Cancel a Lesson:

  1. Login to your Client/Student Portal Account using the credentials you created at your time of enrollment.
  2. Once on your profile, scroll to your schedule and find the date you are unable to attend. Click “Cancel.”
  3. Read through and agree to the terms and conditions, then confirm your cancellation.
  4. If you are trying to cancel a lesson in a future month, the system will require you to pay that month’s invoice in advance.

How to Schedule a Make-up Lesson:

  1. Login to your Client/Student Portal Account and scroll down to your “Credits.”
  2. Select a credit and press “Use.” This will take you to the Self-Booking Page where you will be able to look through days and times an instructor is available.
  3. Select any instructor.
  4. Look through their availability and select a time that works for you.
  5. Click “Booking” and then “Book Now.”
  6. Read through and accept the terms and conditions.
  7. Confirm your Make-Up Lesson.
